IndividualTherapy

In one-on-one counseling, you can address trauma and life challenges in a safe, caring, and private space. The main aim of individual therapy is to enhance comprehension of your thoughts and behaviors, leading to improved functioning and overall well-being. You can learn valuable skills to better handle stress, interpersonal issues, and difficult situations.

Family / Couples Therapy

Family therapy is about improving relationships and behaviors within a family. Family members work together to improve as a whole. This usually leads to better individual improvements compared to working alone. In family therapy, the group can include different combinations of loved ones like couples, parents and children, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, and kinship caregivers. Therapy can help with situations like adjusting to changes (marriage, divorce, moving, etc), aging challenges, death and grief, relationship conflicts (parent-child or sibling conflicts), improving communication, and solving family problems.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a supportive and transformative approach where a small group of people facing similar challenges come together. They give each other feedback, solve problems collectively, and find life-changing solutions. The group acts as a mini-version of the client's family and community, providing different perspectives, support, and opportunities to learn from successful interactions. It helps individuals realize they are not alone, encourages mutual support, helps them find their voice, and promotes healthier relationships with others and themselves. People can benefit immensely from shared experiences in a group setting. The interaction between group members is a driving force for change and growth.

Coaching

We offer virtual and telehealth coaching to clients outside of Utah and Louisiana. Coaching and therapy are different modalities, that are effective. As a coach, we help clients set and achieve goals in different areas of life without a formal diagnosis. Therapists diagnose and use therapeutic modalities focusing on mental health and healing emotions. Coaching helps change behaviors and actions using specific techniques and skills, rather than therapeutic methods. A therapist and a batting coach can both help a player improve their batting average, but they use different methods. A coach helps a parent with skills and motivation to change the dynamics in the parent-child relationship.

Areas of focus: couples, families, parenting, school, academic, career, etc.
